Original Message I'm trying to get a grasp of why people think life here in North America will stay the same for the next 100 years.

9/11 should have taught us (I think) that life in North America is going to change. We need to wake up and smell the roses. We live in a world that is at war and we'll see more war rather then less.

Since 9/11 the gov't has done alot to prepare us for among other things nuclear terrorism and martial law. This I have no problem with because I accept that the world changed on 9/11. It's only a matter of time now and with the way things are going everyone in the world is preparing for bigger wars.

So this brings me to my question. Why do alot of people pretend 9/11 didn't happen? I read through the posts and there are so many eggheads on here who think that life is going to stay rosey like it has been.

I think those people need to wake up. Yes 9/11 did happen and yes it will happen again. If there wasn't a plot to attack Washington with nuclear terrorism then the CIA and the NSA wouldn't have moved their HQ's to Denver Colorado.
