[quote:NewSager:MV80NzY3MDRfNzM0NzY0Ml80OUFCQUM3Mw==] [quote:Proteus 340602] We are all hollow projectors. We literally create the reality around us. The greater the degree one realizes this the more "control" one has. What defines an individual would be one's unique perspective. One's angel of perception at any given moment. This could also be described as one's personality. But keep in mind everyone else is also a part of you(to one degree or another). Otherwise there could be no interaction with others in your/the universe. Also realize that if one is all then one is alone and if one is truly alone then one does not exist but if you perceive then you must exist and therefore you are not alone! Comforting isn't it?
Yes, comforting. :-) Thanks for your input. To follow this train of thought, I've been told that when you dream, every character in your dream is an aspect of YOU. So, with that in mind, the "waking life phenomena" may also be the same, whereas every person you encounter is an aspect of YOU! Not to say that they don't exist, but rather that they "represent" an aspect of you that you may or may not claim as your own. Some people are in denial, liking to blame others for their problems or failures. They will project their shortcomings onto someone else, and being VERY CREATIVE, they then "create" that certain someone to come along and bear the blame/do the misdeed, etc. Clever, aren't we? Similarly, if we have little confidence in our SELF, we will project our insecurities onto another person, or even our superiorities. Either way, we seem to be in a continual mode of "projection", not only creating our reality through wishes, but also our reality of the people we meet and with whom we contend, play, hate, love, etc. This all go towards your (Ted's) theory, methinks, but perhaps more on a psychological and/or philosophical track, which, in essence, is all a part of consciousness. It all goes together, like a puzzle. :-)
THE NATURE OF THE THEORY
The Spiral Vortex Theory is meant to introduce an alternate way of thinking about the universe. This may open the door to a better understanding of our world.
One of the challenges in writing this information has been to explain the relationship between dimensions using words and two dimensional pictures. We purposely avoided using complex mathematical equations because we live in a world arranged in geometric patterns where equations often obscure the obvious.
One method of expression was to describe the concepts from two points of view. For example, it was maintained that everything is stationary and that only Consciousness moves in thought patterns through its creation. In order to relate this concept from our point of reference, the events were described as though creation itself is moving.
The same method was used to show how Consciousness becomes its own creation. This was done by placing you in the position of the Creator of the universe AND as a unique individual entity within it.
Another challenge was that of deciding which points of the theory to present and in what order to present them. There are aspects of the dynamic spiral vortex that, for various reasons, have been kept out of the text.
The goal of this short exposition has been to present the theory in a condensed fonn. The decisive line had to be drawn upon the degree of complexity and clarity in presenting the theory to enable the reader to visualize the simplicity of the concept. The answers to some of your questions are probably on the other side of that line.
One of the things that distinguishes this theory from other theories is that it is now in the process of being developed into a viable technology complete with hardware and useful applications. In 1978, the practical application research phase of the technology began in earnest as the theoretical formulation continued. Since then, devices have been built and experiments have been conducted thus expanding our knowledge base.
The potential of this new technology is too valuable to keep it locked away in the laboratory!
