[quote:babydust2004:MV80Nzk3ODNfNzM4NzY3OV8zNTg2Nzk3NQ==] I have had experience with 2 people in my life who I am pretty sure knew.My father passed away March 1991.He was 44.The week before he died he bought a lottery ticket which he never did as he thought gambling was wrong and he considered lottery gambling. He was telling me the numbers and 1 of them was 24 and I asked him why 24 and he said because he and my mom had been married 24 years. My mom and dad's 25th anniversary would have been May 28,1991.I told him well why did you not pick 25 because in 2 months it will be 25 years and he looked at me and said but right now it is 24 and things happen. He died the next week of a heart attack and had no heart problems. My grandmother had brain cancer and the day before she died she told my cousin to help her lay out her clothes because she told my cousin she needed them for her funeral so that noone would have to worry about that when she died. I was listening to last night's C2C show and some woman called in while Joseph Jacobs (psychic guy) was on and she asked him "Do you think that people sense or know when they are going to die?" The way I understood the question was, do people - if they are going to die soon - have a sense of it?
JJ said he didn't think so. He said there are some days that are so bad that he wishes he would die, but overall, no, people don't have a sense of that.
I thought the question was interesting because I often think that I'm going to die soon-ish. I don't have any life-threatening illnesses (that I know of), I believe I am very healthy, but sometimes I just think that I am going to die early or soon or unexpectedly (as opposed to people who die of lingering illnesses).
So, what do you guys think? Do you think that people know or have an idea that they're going to die soon before they die? I think I'm speaking more of people who die suddenly -like car crashes....
