Original Message I was wondering if anyone else has this happen to them. It doesn't happen very often, but light bulbs will just explode when I am around. A few years ago I even had one of those circular halogen bulbs explode. Glass went everywhere!

I have to change light bulbs in places like my bathroom about once a month. Normal usage, I turn off the lights when I'm not in the room.

About a month ago I had a bulb blow when I walked in the room, then about 30 seconds later it exploded.

I have had these occurrence at different places where I've lived, so its not the electricity in the house. I've even had electricians over when renovating my kitchen and they didn't find anything unusual.

This happen to anyone else?

A poster had posted a thread on streetlights going out when he goes by, so I thought I would put this one out there. And yes, I have streetlights go out all the time when I am driving. My wife cannot believe it!
