[quote:AC 409083:MV81MzE1NDFfODE3MzgzOV9EQURBQ0NDOA==] In answer to questions on list. I have read that oil pulling can cause fillings to loosen and fall out. I do not know why. Dr. Weston Price was a dentist who did a large scale study at an orphanage, and found that the X factor (vitamin K-2?) prevents cavities. Butter from grass fed cows is a rich source of this X factor. http://www.mothering.com/discussions/showthread.php?t=39998 [/quote]

Anyone have any alternative methods to going to the dentist for a teeth cleaning?
For about a year I've been brushing with Dr. Bronner's soap and occasionally with baking soda. I've also been doing oil pulling a few days a week for the past couple of months.
Overall my teeth are definitely whiter but I still see some brownish plaque around the root of the gumline in some teeth.
Is a waterpik designed to clean that stuff off?
