I just ocurred to me that maybe when the bible refers to the dead waking and rising from their tombs it doesnt refer to all but only to the ones that are blessed, saints. Maybe thats why so many saints bodies have remained in an uncorrupt state and many appear as if their are sleeping. Some are absolutely amazing. The most recent one is Padre Pio.
Maybe Gods grace preserves the body because due to their sainthood they will be among the chosen and are those that will rise again.
