Original Message Maybe that was the Russian submarine Kursk fireing one of its new earthquake making weapons? You see, the Kursk did not go down in the Barents Sea, the boat that went down was an unfinished sister ship that served as a decoy. The Real Kursk was towed behind that huge giant battlecruiser, the only ship capable of towing the large sub. Once everyone thought that the real Kursk went down then the real mission of the Kursk only began.

Or, it was a clever diversion by the Kursk captain to make his pursuers think that his boat has sunk or it exploded. Meanwhile, it slowly traveled into deeper water to continue its mission, whatever that may be. Maybe the escaped Kursk carries a new earthquake making machine?

Anyone keeping track of Submarine Naval Assets? There is a big ocean down there surrounding Antarctica, a nice place to park a boomer sub and take out New Zealand or Australia. An entire naval war would occurr down there and nobody would know. Maybe the earthquakes are the subtle hints to the world of something that is happening down there in the vast Antarctic Oceans.

In the event of a World War all the naval chokepoints would be blocked. Panama canal would be controled by the Chinese their new local friends. The Cape Horn on the Southern tip of South America would be blockaded by adversary naval assets and their new friends. The Cape of Good Hope would be the only safe passage for Carrier taskforces. A large battlefield that Antarctic and Indian Ocean would become.

Maybe someone is battling the escaped Nazis in their Antarctic bases?
