[quote:Anonymous Coward 513536:MV82Mzk2MzNfOTczMzkwM19CQUVCNTQ5MA==] The problem with the "trickle down" theory is that when the top is left unchecked, this very situation that we are in is inevitable. If trickle down is going to work, then we need to make sure that the "wages" are proportionate from the top down. Right now the "wages" are setup to give the top 90%, and let the rest of us duke it out for the scraps. I'd be pretty scared if I were a CEO mixed up in this mess...the people are getting pretty pissed off. Of course, the CEOs can afford to "hide" out of the country when TSHTF. [/quote]

It seems to me that trickle up economics would benefit the economy better than trickle down economics.
Corporate greed is purely self serving. Oh, what, we get jobs out of it? Thanks for the wage slave status. Any extra money that corporations get is tucked away, hidden, sent to other countries, given to a few elite executives in large bonuses, ect. It's not trickling down.
Consumer greed on the other hand would benefit every aspect of our economy. Consumer greed means Americans will spend, save, and invest any extra money that they have putting cash into every major industry that is currently hurting. Trickling up seems alot more all-encompassing and a better idea all around.
