Original Message Here is a serious question for those of you who are both homosexual and have with time enough to answer it:

If you could magically "stop" being gay and become completely straight -- lose all gay impulses and urges right this instant, and just become heterosexual -- would you choose to do so?

If no, why? Is it because you don't want to change who you are? Or, do you just enjoy the gay lifestyle? Do you already have a significant other with whom you couldn't have a romantic relationship, if you became straight?

This is also completely serious, and I'm not being a troll. I just want to know.
