[quote:JML:MV82NTU5OTJfOTk4MjQ2M18yNzQxQjU1MQ==] [quote:The_Venerable 412220] One thing I was amazed by was the number of people who didn't know where to vote. There were several people who were in the wrong place, and were mad that the election judges couldn't tell them where to go. Seems like in the age of information that they would be more prepared. Part of our world tho, if you register, you get to vote, wether or not you know what you are doing.... Here they mail you a postcard in October. On the back is the list of all the different places where you can vote.
Here too. That's what really confused me. If you're planing to vote, don't you notice that stuff in the mail? I looked for it. Strange is all.
From North Atlanta GA .... arrived at the Polls at 6.30 am, after they opened at 7.00 am, it took only 40 minutes for me to vote. My polling place was very organized.
Georgia has touch screen voting now which makes the actual voting process faster. Georgia also has a simple ballot this year - only 3 amendments, and much of the local elections are running unopposed.
I also saw no problems, no issues. Although wearing specific candidate apparel is prohibited, the majority of people where I voted had chosen to wear either red or blue, jackets, shirts, etc .... interesting, and a great experience.
