[quote:Nikki_LaVey:MV82NTgwODRfMjA0OTg2ODRfOTgyQTAwMUI=] [quote:FubarMan] Niki, 1. Would you describe your childhood as happy and how was discipline expressed in your home. 2. When did you know you different than other boys age five or older? 3. How come you got married? 4. How did you ex and children take it? 5. You seem quite the extrovert with a rich social life. Do people still try to fight you? 6. When is the last time you fought to protect yourself? 7. Do any of your children suffer from gender confusion? I apologize in advance if those questions have been addressed.
Good questions all. I grew up with a very masculine father and a very feminine mother and I spent equal time with both. My father was a WWII Gunny Sargent so yes we had strict rules. I knew at about the age of 4 or 5 I was a girl and I didn't understand why my parents didn't know that. When I got married I did it for all the wrong reasons. I didn't want to be this way so I wanted to live like "Normal" people I have never regret getting married and having children. At first my EX freak'd out big time, my oldest daughter just knew and my two younger kids just accepted it they had been around transgendered people all their life. Now my EX is a good friend and is very supportive of me like my children. I haven't had anyone try to harm me in years, but I'm always prepared. The last time I drew a weapon was to protect another transperson about four years ago. My children are all very secure in who they are and the is no gender confusion with them.
