Original Message Good spelling used to be a hallmark of a good education and higher intellect.

Not so here, apparently.

In fact, I've noticed a general lack of good spelling and grammar even in newspapers lately. Some of the headlines I've seen would make my 1st grade teacher (Mrs. Uhl) spin in her grave!

We have produced a generation of people who couldn't spell 'cat' if you gave them the 'c' and the 't'.
