[quote:Anonymous Coward 338377:MV82ODg3MjVfMTA1MTkyMTRfNERGMTQxMDI=] Chive seeds require a period of chilling temperatures to help them break dormancy. If you place the pot,( with well drained soil mixture to prevent rotting the seeds), outside for a couple of months during the cold winter weather, the seeds should sprout for you once the temperature of the potting mixture warms up in the spring. Getting a little annoyed Ive tried growing chives and am 0% lucky.
I followed directions and made a mini greenhouse for them. Nothing.
I bought another seed pack. Nothing. Put the seedlings above the fridge freezer as its a little hotter back there. Nothing.
Any secret to growing these babies?
