I have noticed on the mainstream media sites (e.g BBC, CNN) a distinct lack of articles about alternative financial/economic models as solution(s) to the current financial crisis.
Unless I am looking in the wrong place, it seems all of the articles are about reporting losses and 'bailouts' and 'stimulus packages'.
To me this is very suspicious and a strong indicator that those in control want to maintain the current system and are using the 'depression' as a means of consolidating power and control.
I mean if the system results in the current negative situation it needs to change right? Printing more money, redistributing wealth etc is not a solution, its an oppressive reaction.
