[quote:Ground Hogs Drive Angry 335173:MV83MTg3MzBfMTEwNDk2NDVfNEVEODA4NTY=] [quote:Cunning_linguist] Well the groundhog did see his shadow. But where in your links does it mention Tornadoes and the Pineapple Express?
hehe I love the part in the movie where the fat, dumb, well dressed but nice dude aks Bill Murray if he thinks it will be an early spring. He says, "March 21st" lol zzzzzzzzing
Few of these have been recorded or studied in mans history. And one has just occurred, due to a 'Blocking" high over Scandanavia, this rare phenomenon has taken place in the last few days.

Already meteoroligists are talking about the possible effects and weather that will be in store for us in the weeks to come.
No one has really gone out on a limb and said what to expect, however I am going to try and produce a scenario....
In a day or so a massive trough will form off of the West Coast of the United States. California may see its first true "Pineapple Express" in years as the system pulls sub tropical moisture northward and wrings it out over the west coast mountains.
After this is anyones guess....
I am expecting an Arctic Outbreak of historic proportions somewhere in the CONUS, with repeated blizzards over the same areas as storm after storm reloads in this massive trough. Possible tornado outbreaks and plenty of high winds are a good bet as well.
This is going to get interesting to say the least, do yourselves a favor and stock up on the storm goodies and such as this could be one hell of a late winter.
