I hope he got a judge to stop that bitch using her/their joint credit cards and bank accounts!  He needs to cut his losses as soon as possible.

The damage in the one bedroom WAS caused by the step son as he lived there up till May and the room (and the house) has already been photographed as evidence.  Step son also, last May, wrote profanities and phalises on the walls downstairs with black spray paint and glued a box of tiles to the floor which my brother had to repair all the damage.  And the recent stuffing of the mailbox with garbage AND silly string left all over what used to be the step son's room it is pretty obviously he did it (or her) because it was done on the day they moved out (brother was working when it happened).

I will mention about the insurance and see if brother can turn it in.

He already got rid of the only joint credit card they had together back in 2007 after he discovered she had run up $20k on that one (she's got more debt on her other credit cards in her own name).

And my brother just found out that she bankrupted her first husband back in the 90's -  during that short marriage she had 15 credit cards with debt on it in the thousands.  So this woman is looking for someone rich so she can continue on her out of control spending spree.  She has pretty much bankrupted my brother (the lawyer told him he's basically bankrupt).

Original Message My brother got a big surprise after his stbx moved out. They took everything, except for a couch and a small tv. Did not even leave a bed for him to sleep in. Plus, they stuffed the mailbox FULL of garbage!! And when going into his teenage step son's room, he removed 4 inches of garbage off the already destroyed carpet. Once he ripped up the carpet, he discovered large urine stains (there are no pets). How can people do such horrid things? What is wrong with people who do such crappy things to others?? The sad part about it he had a child with this woman, and now she is trying to take her away from him completely (wants full custody) and has already in the past year been practicing parental alienation to get the daughter away from my brother.

My brother has done nothing. NOTHING to deserve this type of treatment. He has always been a faithful spouse, good husband AND good father. And he worked hard so she could run up her credit cards into the thousands (I am talking like 40+k here). Back when SHE was living in a small two room apartment with small children, he allowed her to move into his larger 3 bedroom NEW home because he felt sorry for them. Then he marries her (against everyone's wishes as she did the I am preggo thing when she really wasn't preggo). Any how, now he is paying for everything thing he tried to do for this woman.
