Original Message I have been looking for ways to stretch the dollar in our family and found this for homemade Windex. It works great! I added a couple drops of blue food coloring to make it look like windex. I would be interested in any other homemade solutions you all may have.

Ed’s Recipe for Homemade Windex - Makes 1 Gallon

Mix 1 cup of ammonia
1 pint of rubbing alcohol
1 tablespoon of hand dishwashing liquid (do not use more or streaking may result)
Top with with enough water to make 1 gallon
