[quote:Anonymous Coward 676922:MV83ODk2MjJfMTIyMDI3NTRfNTJCOTlDQjY=] [quote:BEWARE TAX 663903] Just a note to let you know that if these are tax free then the state that you live in can come after you yrs later for the tax due your state. I bought Bronco's from the Senaca Indian Tribe in New York state for a few yrs. It was less expensive even with shipping charges through US postal. Well the tax commission of Utah requested information from from Smart Smoker - used to be Smoke Signals - congress must have allowed (or made a new law) that the tribes had to give information on who purchased cigarettes. They used the Jenkins Act etc. against me - we proved that the Jenkins Act was for (resale only) not consumers. I could not afford legal council against the state - no one was interested in fighting the state. We put up a fight-even went before a judge- with my freedom to shop for the best deal - well, the assistant Attorney General for the state just kept bringing up new laws- I THINK THEY MADE UP NEW LAWS AS WE WENT. In the end they won---- we had to pay back taxes for two yrs. on purchase of cigarettes - they figured it per cigarette - we had to pay two yrs at around $ 800.00 so total of about $ 1,600.00 back taxes. CONGRESS IS TRYING TO GET THE TAX MONEY FROM THINGS PURCHASED ON LINE ETC. ALSO EBAY THEY WANT TO TAX FOR ANYTHING THAT WAS NEW AND NO TAX PAID TO THE STATE. Basicly they said -You are free to shop the markets - but if it is brought into the State of Utah then you must pay taxes. IF YOU CAN BUY WITH CASH SOMEHOW - THAT WOULD BE BEST SO THEY CANNOT TRACE YOU. I don't know how other states are doing this but it might be good to check your state to see, so you don't get a huge bill years later. Years later.
Utah is anti life. Christ, you just got the right to drink there.
