New York Daily News ran a curious story on 85-year-old billionaire philanthropist Laurence Rockefeller who funded a special report on UFOs sent to President Clinton and other world leaders.
Michael Luckman, director of the New York Center for UFO Research, says the Rockefeller report entitled 'The Best Available Evidence,' "features testimony from former military officials and astronauts that contradicts Air Force denials of an alien landing."
The billionaire's name again pops up as a VIP attendee at Bill Clinton's birthday party held on a Rockefeller estate in August . "Rockefeller pressed the Clinton administration to open the government's UFO files," the Daily News notes. Apparently, Laurence thinks it's time the government came clean on the subject of UFOs, particularly the rumored crash of a spacecraft in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.
Is Laurence just another 'truth seeker', or could there be a more sinister motivation behind his devotion to this obscure quest? Certainly, there's no doubt that the Rockefellers constitute one of the world's wealthiest and most influential dynasties.
Laurences' brother David, a longtime chairman of Chase Manhattan Bank, heads the family's global corporate empire. The Rockefeller family played instrumental roles in establishing powerful supranational bodies like the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Bilderber Society.
The bottom line Rockefeller funded people to say things like this :
"Imagine that you work for a higher intelligence in some region of the universe, and you and It have noted that one species among the millions residing on a jewel among the planets has taken upon itself a destructive project. It has appropriated this planet for itself, while killing off millions of other species, not just for its own survival, but indifferently or wantonly, sometimes just for the sport of it. Furthermore, this species has already rendered much of this planet uninhabitable, and is at risk of making still more of it incapable of sustaining life, and threatening destroy all life through the development and use of nuclear weapons. From that perspective how would you judge the alien intrusion? "
