Uncovered in 1987 during a scheme to landscape an area of the the Great Orme, the copper mines discovered below the ground represent one of the most astounding archaeological discoveries of recent time. Dating back 4,000 years to the Bronze Age they change our views about the ancient people of Britain and their civilized and structured society 2,000 years before the Roman invasion.
Over the past 21 years mining engineers, cavers and archaeologists have been slowly uncovering more tunnels and large areas of the surface landscape to reveal what is now thought to be the largest Prehistoric mine, so far discovered in the World. [link to www.greatormemines.info]
According to Zulu shaman Credo Mutwa, a reptilian extra-terrestrial race were behind these prehistoric mining operations [Interesting to note that the word Orme is Scandinavian for worm or serpent, and in the bible the devil is also referred to as the great serpent or dragon. Some researchers describe the Anunnaki as reptilian or serpent-like].

Sumerian cosmologist Zechariah Sitchin also expands upon alien mining activities of prehistory. According to Sitchin, the Earth was created when a new planet, called Nibiru, inhabited by a race of powerful beings known as the Anunnaki, entered our solar system, causing massive disruption to the existing pattern of planetary interactions. After Nibiru collided with Uranus, Sitchin believes, some of the disturbed planetary matter coalesced in a different location, forming the Earth.
One day the Anunnaki landed on Earth in spaceships. They were interested primarily in mining Earth's gold. Nibiru, it seemed, suffered from some atmospheric disturbance and gold flecks could be used to mitigate the effect of the disturbance on the planet's inhabitants.
After mining the Earth for some time on their own, the Anunnaki decided to genetically engineer a slave race to do the mining for them. According to Sitchin, that was us: humans. The Anunnaki created us by splicing some of their own genetic material with that of Earth's native apes.
