They say things were bad in the past and yet we made it.
Go back to at least 200 years (nothing in the grand time) to a volcano named Tambora (bigger explosion than Krakatoa). If that volcano exploded today the world's economy would be toast. It would collapse. That volcano caused big crop failures all over the world. Imagine if crop failures like that took place today. Imagine what that would do to the world's economy. And that volcano was maybe the equivalent of a 500 pound bomb but there are volcanoes in this world that are equivalent of a super massive hydrogen bomb. Just to give you a comparison.
Whoever says doom is impossible just lives with contempt for life and has no understanding of how life works at all.
and whoever says that we humans dont play a part in nature as far as effecting nature are delusional and totally programmed and misguided to the extreme.
P.S- they called the time when that volcano exploded "the year without a summer". Just something to think about.
Oh yes. Doom is very much a possibility and our modern civilization is much more fragile than anyone cares to admit. We are not in as much control as we think we are.
