[quote:Anonymous Coward 548848:MV84MjQyNzRfMTI3NTQyNThfNUU1RUNENkI=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 710816] None of the responses sense my point, which is that Jackie had her wits about her to act on the situation, which is to her credit. Either men or women sitting next to a mate whose head has just exploded, what would be the reaction? I guess no one heard gun shots. But the car had started to accelerate and in a tight skirt she is jumping/climbing over the back boot. In situations involving terror so close, most of us would just scream and crumple. What would you do? Think about it.
I think she instinctively reached out for her husbands chunk of head on the trunk and then tried to signal the secret service. If she wanted to hide wouldn't she have ducked down behinds the seat?
This vid at rense. The driver shoot has been talked about before. I really wonder why there is no mention of Jackie's instinctive move to climb over the back of the convertible to get out the line of fire.
