2. Highway Star - Deep Purple



I can't find a decent video of Purple doing it anywhere on YouTube... so you can watch the (superior) Dream Theater version instead!

3. Whole Lotta Rosie - AC/DC



Any doubts that Angus Young can play guitar shall now be laid to rest.

4. Mr. Crowley - Ozzy Osbourne



Here, Ozzy fully demonstrates that he didn't need Black Sabbath anymore... he had Randy Rhoads instead (R.I.P).

5. Ride the Lightning - Metallica



Superior to "One" in every imaginable way in terms of guitar work, this song was actually co-written with Dave Mustaine before he was sacked from the band.
