[quote:blackcat66 348276:MV84NTc1MDNfMTMyOTU0MDdfNUI5NTY5MTU=] What a generous offer and if I could, I would take it immediately. What you are suggesting is exactly the kind of life that I've been craving. The simple yet fulfilling life which connects us with nature, and that includes to re-connect with our humanity. La Rivera Maya is absolutely beautiful. My brother lives in Canucn. A "chilango" learning to adapt to hurricanes. His fist one was Vilma and needless to say, he was terrified, and as with al crisis, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. I am mexican married to an american hard working man and I know many americans who are like him. Good people, hard working, caring. I feel very sad to see what is happening to USA. I see my husband in disbelief/pain because most americans really love their country and it is just too painful for them to see what is going on. My husband still holds a little hope that this crisis is just a 'cycle'. Since I come from a third world country, I am less optimistic. I see the steps being followed one, by one and I am very worried about the social reaction. I am not so worried about the financial crisis, because I perceive americans as hard working people who are not afraid of starting from zero, but I am worried about the social unrest, because I see the country too divided, separated and fed with fear and anger. You said you are mexican and my hats off. I wish much more mexicans were like you. Thanks. [/quote]

I am thinking of getting up to 100 acres in Southern Mexico to help some American friends scape their democratic, economic and political woes.
How much land would I lend them if per family so they are able to grow a garden, and what should I ask in return, if any?
What is fair?
