[quote:Anonymous Coward 488240:MV84NzM4MzVfMTM1MjE1MDRfRDZEN0RGNQ==] [quote:DSP] I believe it is much more common for people to avoid the flu shots in my circles. We will take our chances with the flu. At least we know the flu doesn't cause Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Quite wrong. GBS can be caused by any viral or bacterial infection. However, Guillain-Barré Syndrome hasn't been linked with any flu vaccine since 1976. It was faulty production of a single vaccine strain. Risks of the Swine Flu Vaccine Written by Alex Newman Thursday, 03 September 2009 13:00 Another cause for concern surfaced in the United Kingdom when the government’s Health Protection Agency sent a letter to senior neurologists warning that the new swine flu vaccine is linked to the deadly nerve disease known as Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), the Daily Mail reported in an article entitled "Swine flu jab link to killer nerve disease: Leaked letter reveals concern of neurologists over 25 deaths in America." http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/health-care/1813
Did you know kids hear in frequencies that adults cannot hear? Does this make you worry...?
Stealth Sound System - a mobile application that utilises high frequency sounds to allow teens to communicate without adults listening in. The application lives on a Fanta branded wap site. On-pack labelling and a viral film were created to drive teens to the wap site and download the application. In-store radio was also used to drive teens to purchase Fanta and engage with the on-pack messaging. The radio advert was the world’s first ‘silent’ ad – making perfect sense to teens and baffling adults by using the same high-pitched sounds to finish off sentences. The ads played out in shopping malls – the same place the noises were first used to deter loitering teens.
