Original Message I've a really genuine question, were the Prophets (especially) or would they have been considered an equivalent to Bipolar of today?

I hope I'm narrating this the right way.

The Prophets/prophetic people, in the OT, and in the New, and people gifted in this area of their calling, are vastly misunderstood and 'outside the box' so to speak.

Such a lack of mentoring for them today; my experience is that only a very secure (in God) Pastor of a church is wise enough to lead them.

Would appreciate your comments if you are able to explain why I've heard many say lots of the prominent people God used, especially prophets/prophetic, were and are still considered to be a little old (I don't think they are).
