Original Message I was flying yesterday and I started thinking about 9/11 and how people claimed that they received calls from loved ones on hijacked planes. How is that possible? Unless you have a satallite phone how would your cell work while flying? Even if you cell phone could connect to a tower on the ground (which Im doubtful) wouldnt you lose your signal because you are traveling so fast?
