Original Message A close friend is 8 months pregnant and found out her co-worker was taking her son to the doctor after he came down with the flu. Many of his classmates had supposedly already been diagnosed with Swine Flu, so she was naturally worried, as was my pregnant friend. This is in Central Texas.

The co-worker called to say that yes, the doctor said her son had Swine Flu and the entire family had been given Tamiflu, and the doctor advised everyone she had been in contact with to get some Tamiflu because, "Everyone you've been in contact with will have contracted it." The lady asked the doctor how he knew her son had Swine Flu vs. seasonal flu since he didn't send the sample off to the CDC and to her supprise the doctor said, "We've been advised to diagnose everyone with flu symptoms with Swine Flu as a precaution, because it's too early for the regular flu season."

Has anyone heard this yet? Diagnosing everyone with Swine Flu just because they have flu symptoms is a HUGE problem, especially considering the fact that we are ALREADY IN a pandemic 6 situation.
