[quote:The Professor 660063:MV85MDk0MDdfMTQwODExMjhfOTA0QUEwQUY=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 803829] Do you have the verse? Someone said that some people on earth incarnated from heaven. Pre-existed that is but not as in reincarnation. Have to mull that around. Can you provide your text? Here Jhn 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven. This appear to be validation of the deity of Christ and refers to Him alone.
The problem is that Christ Himself is saying these words in John 3:13. What makes it "trippy" is that Christ, who is obviously very much alive and on this planet while speaking, refers to himself as being in heaven as he speaks. As they so eloquently say on GLP: WTF?? I have no idea what the words imply, and my only hope is that one of the many enlightened self-proclaimed divine spokespersons on GLP can explain it. To me, the words in John 3:13 suggest simple fraud. The author of John was making up things without realizing that the words he was using could not be attributed to the person purportedly speaking. Whoever wrote the book of John messed up big time. It is impossible for Christ Himself to talk about his ascension as having taken place when in fact it had not. It is also impossible (and quite trippy) for Christ to be in both heaven and on earth at the same time. This is a gotcha moment for Bible critics.
