[quote:Anonymous Coward 846663:MV85NDc0MjdfMTQ3NDY4NThfMkVERUQyOEQ=] [quote:Princess Julie] Wow the crow story just reminded me of something I was trying to forget. I had to put my dog down last year right after Thanksgiving. It was the hardest thing I have ever done and I still think about it every day. As he was dying he abruptly turned and looked at me for a brief moment then his eyes were dead. I couldn't look at him lifeless like that so that last glance was the last time I saw him. My Mom was there with me. When I got home I lingered outside on the deck for a bit and out of nowhere tons of black crows started flying in and landed on a giant tree directly in front of me and filled every branch (there were no leaves). I was sobbing and I looked at my Mom and said is that normal?? And she said no and we have never spoken about it since. I have tried to find out more about what that could mean but I just like to think it was his spirit telling me goodbye. He loved this house and he loved the land. I bought it just for him. He was my dog for 12 years and I feel so sad every time I think of this.
I had a similar thing happen this last August. My dog got very sick and as I drove him to the vets I saw crows everywhere. They were flying above me in all directions, sitting on signals, on the sidewalk, just everywhere and cawing. I knew it was not a good sign. My dog was in the hospital for two days and they diagnosed him as terminal. I had to have him put down. He was my best friend. Tore me up. That night I was out on deck thinking about him and missing him when crows started appearing all over my back yard. I have checked the crow on some Native American sites and learned they are viewed as the keepers of the knowledge of the other side. Another site said they are messengers between the two worlds. Some even say that they accompany the spirit to the other side.
So what's the strangest thing you've seen? Something paranormal? Something just bizarre?
A wallaby in a parking lot in Dallas Texas?
A sasquatch? ghost?
A UFO?
The weirdest thing I have personally laid eyes on was one of those Triangle UFO things that were popular a few years back. Flew right over my house.
What'cha got GLP?
