(psssst, that's the intention) No wonder why people signing up for the mail list grows by leaps and bounds. Thanks debunkers... Tell your masters that they REALLY need to update the propaganda handbook beyond WW2 to compensate for the internet. Carry On...
Yeah, that little ol' disinfo counter intelligence handbook seems to be a bit out of date... The people a the Disinfo Institute are getting lazy these days.
Well the question any rational person would ask is; why do these people who "claim" to make all kinds of money and have professional lives spend their entire professional lives on a conspiracy forum trying like hell to derail a thread? Yea... like that adds up. It's so obvious now that just about everyone sees the shillery.
Yes...this is the question that I have been asking myself for years. Until last year I made mid-six figures per year as an SVP at a Fortune 500 company. I visited GLP every other day or so, just to see what was brewing. This thread was always one that captured my interest. I have read several illuminating posts here, but I had neither the time nor the inclination to take precious moments out of my very busy day to argue at length, repeatedly, with debunkers. And it is quite curious that they choose to spend so much of their time arguing with those whom they obviously do not respect and consider woefully ignorant. Ask yourself this question: do you really value the opinion of the "ignorant"? How much does it really matter to you whether people who are "ignorant" of astronomy - or science as a whole - remain off-base or misguided? Is the need to enlighten them so compelling that you would spend hours of your life for years attempting to correct the "ignorant", 99% of whom you have never met and will never meet and for who you have complete and utter disdain? I am quite certain that we have all spent valuable time attempting to sway the minds of family, friends or others who are dear to us on issues that we feel are of critical importance - and we have suffered accordingly - but how many of us would actually endure this sort of abuse to sway the minds of complete strangers? When one really takes the time to consider these questions carefully, it would seem fairly obvious to most reasonable minds (I think) that there is an agenda at play here that is not being openly disclosed. But I suspect that many here have already figured that out. Macbeth is instructive here. "Methinks the lady doth protest too much." Lucus, the harder they shill, the harder they fall. There is a fall coming, my friend. I am currently visiting friends today in the Canadian Rockies - where it should be 20 degrees - and it is almost 70. In early March. Digest that. Something is just not right. And anyone - no matter how "ignorant" they are - who bothers to turn their nose to the air and sniff what is blowing in the breeze can figure that out by now.
Simple. When Terral ELE Part 2 goes down with absolutely nothing happening, those ignorant of Astronomy can't say that those of us who actually know a little about Astronomy didn't warn you. We have warned you. Lucus apparently knows very little about Astronomy but knows how to push the button of those that know even less. When the curtain closes on ELEnin Act 2 it will be just as big of a bust as Act 1. You can quote me on that. :ohyeah:
Ah, but it is not that simple at all. Because you and others on this thread have been "warniing" us not once, not twice, but literally hundreds of times over the course of the past several years. How many times must the delusional be "warned"? Does it really make sense to assume that a delusional person will finally "see the light" after being warned 100 times? 1000 times? 10000 times? Will there ever be a point at which the "warnings" simply stop? I am beginning to think that the answer is "never", which is in and of itself most curious. And let's assume that you are correct, and nothing of significance occurs in Act 2. Debunkers have no relationship whatsoever with the "delusional" on this thread. Debunkers have invested no money in our lives or our activities, and so if and when Act 2 is a "bust", what should that matter to debunkers? If anyone on this thread decides fold up their tent and heads to the mountains in MO to join Terral, why on earth should that matter to you? That's one less person who is not in the labor market. What a bonus to debunkers in a struggling economy! I simply see no reason for such concern over the fate of complete and total strangers. I wish our elected officials demonstrated as much interest in the safety and well-being of strangers as debunkers appear to demonstrate ;-) Having said that, I seriously doubt that those who subscribe to Lucus' theory either want or are in need of your concern. I suspect they simply want to be free to carry out their lives and to believe what they want to believe without harassment. Is that such a horrible thing?
2 hour presentation I gave at Brave New Books in Austin.
Just covered the facts, packed the place, many more people came than I expected and everyone was very grateful. It was a 1000% success.
Here is part 1 of 13. Have at it...please, prove me wrong. I hope you can.
