RemarksI was facing a northerly direction, and this meteor/fireball caught my eye. I saw it through a window from inside, while I was in a lighted room, and watched it move toward the horizon even as it competed with a streetlight in direct sight. It appeared to be larger, brighter, and more durable than the brightest and lengthiest Perseids that I have ever observed. Only 15-20 degrees of its arc of movement was viewable from my position.
