Belgian old lady gets mislead by GPS which sent her to Zagreb instead of Brussels

A woman from the Belgian province of Henegouwen wanted to travel by car to country’s capital city of Brussels. She asked her GPS for help, but eventually she ended up in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, which is 1450 kilometers away from her Henegouwen home.

The 67-year-old Sabine Moreau jumped in in her car Saturday morning for a ride to Brussels North. Normally that’s just an hour drive. “My GPS somehow got in troubles and provided several directions that I had to follow. And then… it went wrong.”

She kept driving for hours without thinking too much. “I saw all kinds of traffic signs along the road. First in French, then in German: Köln, Aachen, Frankfurt. But I didn’t ask myself any question. I just kept accelerating,” said the old woman.
