NBC's Brian Williams called out Donald Trump for being an arrogant blowhard during NBC's election coverage, but there's one small problem. NBC gives Trump his biggest platform of all.

"This is, as they say, out there and getting an airing tonight, so you might as well know about it," Williams starts. "Donald Trump, who has driven well past the last exit to relevance and veered into something closer to irresponsible here, is tweeting tonight. Here's a sampling..." (Emphasis ours.)

Williams proceded to read some of these tweets, all courtesy of Mr. Trump:

There was also this Trump tweet captured below that he's since (wisely) deleted:

"So there, you have that. That happened," Williams concluded.

This is the part where we applaud Brian Williams for taking a stand against an awful, self-promoting blowhard like Trump, who shouldn't be relevant enough to garner a mention on election night in the middle of a live broadcast. But that's where we are, and it's partially NBC's fault. They are the ones that broadcast Trump into our living rooms in primetime on a weekly basis every year with his stupid and awful reality competition, The Apprentice. They have done so since January 2004, and they plan to do it again in March 2013.

Donald Trump, you are the loser this time. And a rather sore one, too.
