The Constitution says this:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;

Amendment 14 - Citizenship Rights. Ratified 7/9/1868

1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.

So since the 14th amendment,

we are all:

citizens of the United States

-not-

a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States

If it does not matter if Citizen starts with an upper or lower case C then why did they change it.

Im pretty sure we have not had a legit POTUS since the 14th amendment in 1868.

13th Amendment says that involuntary servitude shall not exist and so there fore these are twin amendments. There is no slavery but all is slavery. Get it?

14th amendment speaks to three groups. Two of these are 1: persons born and subject to the jurisdiction, and 2: persons Naturalized and subject to the jurisdiction. In both cases they must subject themselves to the jurisdiction. The third party unspoken is those who do not subject themselves to the jurisdiction.

And since all law and the conduction of it is presumptive then there is an assumption of incompetence on both parties who submit to the jurisdiction. Today, a person representing themselves in court would have the same success as one who did the same in front of a Church Inquisition. You need to have the helpful lawyer, and indeed you are mentally unstable if you think you can comprehend the law.

That is the point of these two amendment, imo. The truth is seen only in retrospect and at the end of the economic Age. Lincoln did what he had to, to get us to this point, but he knew it was a devil's bargain.
