From the look of the surf it would appear someone has been taking a giant bubble bath in the Pacific Ocean.
But these suds are in fact vast quantities of sea foam which has been collecting on beaches along the California coast in the U.S. in the wake of the tsunami created by the massive Chilean earthquake on Saturday.
An unusual mix of weather and oceanic conditions, added to the large waves created by the 8.8 earthquake, is thought to be behind a surge of the foam on beaches, including Hollywood Beach in Oxnard, California.
