I like that Charlie's Sky song...never heard it before though I have heard of that band before...great vocals.

It brings to mind one of my most over posted songs, only because of the name of the song, it's from the Never Say Die album.

Aha! So...why did they use the reel to reel 4 Track 80's Recording Equipment?

Because the Band were dirt poor and this was recorded in the 80's with the little change they could scrape together to get it recorded back then : )

What! no dolby DNR? Whould'a thunk it?

I don't know if you like wild Guitar Solos 902 but if you do skip to around 2:50 in the Track to hear it.

They did manage to get some better quality recordings of some of their other tracks but they are all still quite 'noisey' - does anyone know of any good remixing programs that could be employed now to clean them up?

How about Neil Young? It wasn't recorded in the 80 s but maybe they did it on purpose...just being ignorant. How about listening to music without thinking of technics and stuff?

They had Zero Money to afford a quality Studio,it was recorded on 4 Track with what they could afford.

As to whether I like this Band,they were a very popular Underground Live Punk-Goth Band in Bristol in the 80's,it's a sound I remember from when I was Child growing up in Bristol(amongst all the obvious popular classics).

I do like scrappy Punky kinda' stuff,yes : )
