Anonymous Coward User ID: 780984 United States 03/07/2010 03:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is unexpected. Quoting: Ethericplane 870633Apparently you can access the universal wisdom of your own higher self, plus get information from experts in the spirit world, just by learning how to test the strength of your own muscles. This works because your higher self is completely honest and completely tied into your autonomic nervous system. Muscles then show a strengthening for "positive Yes" answers and a weakening for "no" answers. This is sort of like a biological lie detector, I guess. There is quite a bit out there on the Net about this. People claim to have diagnosed illness, found remedies, foreseen danger, and even saved lives. I'm wondering if anyone has benefited from this potentially amazing practice? [link to www.naturalhealthtechniques.com] Muscle testing was initially developed in the US by a chiropractor, Dr. George Goodheart, who developed applied kinesiology. Dr. Klinghardt has since taken it to an entirely different level, to where A.R.T. can be used to understand and gauge how different interventions can influence a person’s pathology. Conventional medicine do not have the tools to determine the root of health problems, which makes ART that much more valuable. And contrary to popular belief, the ART method of muscle testing is not based on psychic abilities or some flimsy methodology of using your body as a pendulum. Rather, it is a true diagnostic system that is based in physiology, the function of your autonomic nervous system, with repeatable experiments to back it up. In the video above, you’ll hear him give several examples of the methodology that distinguishes ART from other muscle testing techniques. What is Autonomic Resonance Testing (ART)? [link to articles.mercola.com] Where is the video on that page? I couldn't find it. Thanks! |

It seems like the subconsciousness mind has a tremendous amount of control over our bodies, as it is always aware and watching. After all the body state is temporary, so there is much room to play with the sub-conscience knowing life is a temporary illusion. maybe??? |

While hardly "scientific", i find that MT works rather well, in my experience :)) And, actually, it might be relatively easy to set up an experimental program where an observer already had the answers to all of the questions to be asked, and would match them against the answers "given". There's a bit more complexity to this, of course, but that would be the bare bones. |

Many years ago at a little meeting a fellow demonstrated the following. He asked for several volunteers. Each were asked to hold their arm out and resist his downward pressure. He then placed his other hand to the volunteers chest. Each volunteers arm collapsed immediately, with chuckles all round. The Gentleman then showed what was in his hand. A US Dollar Bill folded to show the reverse Pyramid Seal of the United States. Lots of fun. |

(And people pay money for this stuff.} Muscle testing is accurate, the person doing the testing may not be. They may have preconceived ideas and be tired. This can mess up a test. They may even be asking questions wrong. The question has to be very specific because the only answer is a yes or no. So there is a lot that goes into muscle testing. The use of common sense is also needed. I asked a question about how many pills a person needed and it came out three. But I had to take it further and ask is that all together or separately. It was one three times a day. If I didn't ask this and had her take the pills altogether things would have been bad. And you can only tell what a person needs for that day or even moment because the body changes. So she would need to be retested in a few days. I have been doing this for years and I am still learning and do not rely totally on this type of testing but also on medical tests and again on common sense. I have also been wrong so I have a partner who will test me to see how I am doing. Some days I cannot test at all and don't try. Eventually you get to know yourself and you will just know what you need. Do a lot of reading on muscle testing and if you have someone do it choose them wisely. |

Smoking in the wilderness has a pretty much different effect. Weed weak down your auric field and open you up to your surrounding , which is most of the time too much in public places , due to peoples energy waves if you're already ''energy sensitive'' and all those harmfull ELF waves. It may open your 3rd eye chakra but it close down your throat and root chakras. A closed throat chakra equal difficulty to express yourself , feeling disconnected from others thus fear and paranoia which lead to closing the crown chakra. Root chakra , well getting ''high'' says it all. I believe marijuana can be a great tool , mostly when i play music but overdoing it hinder your self progress and many other things , pretty much like over doing anything else. 1-2 smoke a week isnt bad but 1-2 times each day for years def mess you up and you dont realise it until you stop it and let your body go back to his normal state. |

It is full of fear and anger. Clearly you are psychologically disposed to fear and so would be a perfect example of this. |

There's a bit more complexity to this, of course, but that would be the bare bones. Muscle testing answers can be off if the person is predisposed to a certain answer. One must be also objective and emotionally balanced. And since you are testing the subconscious you must get out of the way of yourself or you will cause yourself to have interference(the conscious mind interfering with the answers from the subconscious) in order to get accurate answers. There is so much to muscle testing so if someone is muscle testing you make sure you also use your common sense in case the answers don't seem quite right. And if you are testing yourself make sure you aren't tired and get into a quiet place to get centered. Again, use your common sense in case your answers don't make sense. It is not an exact science because we are imperfect and are not always correct in everything we do. Anyway, in the right conditions muscle testing does work and is an awesome diagnostic tool. |
