Are you talking about the Chips Ahoy soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies?

God, I used to buy those all the fricking time, and yes, they gave me a stomach ache, too.

I haven't had those in almost two years now; I bake my own at home! :)


No, these were chips deluxe, keebler. I should start baking more though, we still rely on too many processed sweets around here.

Really, baking your own isn't as time consuming or expensive as you'd think. Just slightly under-cook them for that "chewiness" and seal them in a container after they've cooled down. They freeze really well, too.

You can also replace organic coconut oil for butter, etc.; it makes for a really tasty, soft cookie. The slight coconut flavour enhances the taste of the chocolate.
