That even in free range wilderness in Africa, we basically have every animal in captivity, whether we patrol the area or whathaveyou.
How did animals ever flourish on the planet without us, eh?
Why the HELL do we need to catalog everything? can't we just let nature take its course without our grubby hands interfering? |

People are still discovering new species all the time. There's thousands of critters out there that haven't even been documented, never mind held captive. Everything is permitted.. |

Apparently, opinions are passed off as facts on Animal Planet. They found thousands of new species just last year. There are STILL places on this planet that have never been explored. They don't even know how many people live in most places, yet alone animals. |

...Seriously though...That Animal Planet isn't so good--but maybe there's a little truth to that statement, since the animals all over the world are effected by the sounds, lights, and signals that are produced by man's activities. Any place that you can see from a plane (and that is a lot of places if you are high enough) is a place from which a plane could be seen. ...So they are all human-exposed creatures.
But are they not wild anymore? ...I think a walk through the wilderness would provide the answer. |
