Reality check: I got several good functioning very expensive cameras for free. Got 4 months free rent at an apartment in Japan 10 years ago. Two free meals on a recent US domestic fleet. On the internet alot of very beneficial heath information is free. I greatly improved the condition of my teeth and feet with info i found on a website. I have even found by chance money from 20 bucks to well over 1500 dollars on the street, in parking lots on a the trains platform. I even found 100 dollars in a desk someone put by the curb. I have also given away money for free...once as much as 4000 dollars. At swap meets and garage sales perfectly good stuff is often giving away for nothing. There are websites and books devoted to explaining how you can claim your free stuff. And you dont even need to buy many of the books, just go to a bookstore like Barnes and Noble. You can look through the book in the shop. |

Check person out through BBB and the web. One time I got a computer for free. It was supposed to be a test market for web ads. They were on the right hand side of the screen. After about 2 months they decided it wasn't working and sent me a letter telling me I could remove their software and just keep the computer. A stand alone guy that contacted me would make me nervous as well. |
