[link to www.foxnews.com] Some New York City chefs and restaurant owners are taking aim at a bill introduced in the New York Legislature that, if passed, would ban the use of salt in restaurant cooking. The legislation, which Assemblyman Felix Ortiz, D-Brooklyn, introduced on March 5, would fine restaurants $1,000 for each violation. I'm sure this will go nowhere...but seriously... The problem is that most people eat prepared and packaged foods, which contain high amounts of salt as a preservative. This then causes the problem. This man proposing this bill is another example of the STUPIDITY of the legislators of this country (US). But hey what can you expect when they want to tax us for the very air we breathe.
