Congress does what it is told and then sits down and shuts up and waits for more orders. Congress are the bitches of the bankster elites, toady fucks who open up their already reamed anuses at the behest of their masters. Problem with Congress being nothing more than a playtoy bitch is that We the People have to live with consequences. Government is treason. Who would be free themselves must strike the blow. Better even to die free than to live slaves. |

THERE IS SOMETHING VERY ILLEGAL AND AGAINST THE CONSITITUTION GOING ON HERE. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 896531From what I've gathered the Supreme Court can't do anything until the bill is passed and someone files against it. I've seen, in various places, that there are a few lawyers and people (not saying that lawyers aren't people...*laugh*) that have items ready to file if the bill passes. Anonymous Coward User ID: 886108 United States 03/11/2010 09:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | what needs to be done is kick out the insurance companys and lawyers in the medical buisness. You just pay the doctor and thats it. YOu think enough of your doctor then its your responsibilty that you picked a good one. Medical costs would plummet to next to nothing. Get rid of the insurance companys and lawyers in the medical services. And probably most any buisness. Lawyers and insurance companys are the ones screwing us all. |

We don't all agree on everything but then again we shouldn't. this is the USA, and we should have different views and respect them. We can still work together peaceably to change the government. Until then, there are a multitude of "Report Card" sights that will likely help begin forming opinions on each of our current 111th Congress... I personally believe that each person needs to be judged against the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. Once identified, each member needs to be clearly identified for what they are (patriot or traitor), and a short succinct summary pamphlet prepared for MASS distribution... There are many more, but some of the sites I found are as follows: For the Conservative minded folks: [link to americanrebellion.net] [link to www.bleeckertees.com] Overall Voting Records (General): [link to projects.washingtonpost.com] Best For Last (Constitutional Voting Record Report Card): House: [link to www.throwthemout.com] Senate: [link to www.throwthemout.com] Enjoy! Within the surreal depths of "reality" lies the truth. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 848699Right now you can buy yourself some health insurance for $79 a month. Google it. Do you seriously think its going to be LESS than that with the government running it? Hardly. The folks I feel sorry for are the ones who can't afford it now but will get fined if they don't buy it - in other words many people are now FORCED to buy insurance when they couldn't afford it to begin with. |
LVL39com User ID: 913249 New Zealand 03/11/2010 11:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So is there going to be a public option or not? I'm ok with a public option and I'll tell you why. I moved out of the US 10yrs ago and now live in NZ. NZ basically has free public healthcare and it's great, I also have a private policy for my family this is full private healthcare GOOD quality care and it costs me $50 US dollars a month for a family of 4. I've had a couple operations and other issues and it has been superb. Now flip over to my parents in the US struggling with their insurance I think which now costs them $600 a month or more for sub standard care. Should anything go wrong they might not even get signed off for the cover, etc. So all I can wonder is what is wrong with the system I have? I would not trade it for anything! I want free care I get it, I want to go private I can get that, it's all free or dirt cheap and high quality. How can that be a bad thing? And before anyone says I must get taxed 80%, my income tax is around 22%.. In so much of our daily lives, the search for truth takes a backseat to everything. |

You deserve to die bankrupt in a ditch, because you don't work. Fucking free loader. I don't know you and I can't stand you! You are a fool. I have worked full-time and sometimes 2 jobs for 40 years since I was 14. I have a BA & MA degree which I paid for myself (no aid). My family has lived in the USA and fought in every war since 1750. We are not fucking free loaders jerk. then why don't you have health care? where you spending all your money? on vacations and new cars? so now everyone else is supposed to pay for your health care? |
