As I see things, the american public grew up thinking that insurance was something the company did for the workers, today government is going to stand in and demand that companies provide this or pay fees.

What I am hearing is that the fees are less than the cost of providing the insurance and execs don't like the strong arming and purchases of necessary votes to get this passed. If American cannot see just what is happening, corporate american can cancel paying insurance, pay the fees and let each employee pay for the responsibility themselves.

My insurance runs 350 per employee each month, if I cancelled that and paid the 8% fee, my monthly expenses would drop. I don't see the incentive in keeping insurance if the public doesn't care about the benefit.

Healthcare needs to change, but this thing is only about money and how they can get it from you. If your company does drop insurance, you are required to purchase it or pay heavy fees.....it really is about money and how they can get it.
