Considering The news contacted the airport and it was confirmed that these were not planes by the actual Airport, watch the news clip, Why does some mufon guy (They are clueless by the way) opinion mean more to you than the actual airport?
 Quoting: Michael Lee Hill

"The news"? Suddenly some talking head in a studio in NYC is a reliable source? And a pilot from MUFON on the ground for 5 days isn't?

People who live here know the idea of objects/Orbs traveling from left to right in the Eastlake area makes no sense saying they are coming into Cleveland Hopkins Airport, why is this so hard to understand?...Hopkins airport is about 35-40 miles in the opposite direction?
 Quoting: Michael Lee Hill

Read the Examiner article:

Mufon had people at Euclid and at Lakewood and confirmed the lights were headed towards Hopkins Airport. And there are other people from the area who were there who are posting on other sites.

Are you paid shills? Must be.

I would believe the Airport and the fact the also said these objects were not on their RADAR, That is kinda hard to explain, but you are not looking for the truth now are you?

If you watch the following news clip it clearly states the FAA was contacted and they say these are NOT Planes or Jet's

So I find it funny now that the shills are claiming they are just planes, Since when does a Plane or Jet stick around for hours and also NOT show up on radar by the way as reported...

Plus the wittnesses said these objects were dimming out then getting very bright as well. Planes my ass, Do they not realize that many of us know that these Orbs of Plasma/Light are showing up worldwide right now?

Anyhow, Don't let them pull the wool over your eyes!

Please direct me to "The News" report that mentions that Hopkins Airport was contacted or that anyone checked any radar.

I'm not saying it's not true but I don't remember seeing anything about that.

At the most it sounds like some intern at MSNBC might have made some phone calls and got the usual "not one of ours" routine.

That piece DOES NOT clearly state that at all. He says the FAA was contacted and said "the light patterns seem different than commercial flight paths."

Nothing about radar.
Nothing about the airport.
And whatever conversation MSNBC had with the FAA about where these lights were was based on some jiggly videos and the testimony of one hyperventilating kid.

Are you going to trust MSNBC's reporting if and when they come out and say it was airplanes? No, they'll be "shills" then.

Hi Angels,

Very nice to meet you. What I am seeing would not be over Lake Erie. It is to the East of my location in Buffalo. I am in north Buffalo. The Lake is almost due South. I would be delighted to give you my location to help point you in the right direction (I really do want someone else to see what I am seeing) but I am not going to give out that information on a public message board, for obvious reasons.

Where in Buffalo are you? I live close to Delaware Park.

Wow, Didn't mention radar? you must be dense or a shill or you didn't watch the clip at all.

Here is what what is stated in that first news clip...

Reporter - "The FAA said seems different from commercial flight Paths"

Nick Pope then says "Has anybody checked the RADAR tapes to see if there was anything unusual was tracked?

Reporter - Well as a matter of fact I spoke with officials at the FAA, they checked in wth the Cleveland air traffic control and they have nothing unusual, nothing unusual on the RADAR.

So you have hundreds of people wittnessing huge Orbs of multi-colored plasma/Light for hours out over Lake Erie and Cleveland Air Traffic Control has nothing on their RADAR.

One would think that is they were indeed Planes or Jets they would also show up on RADAR?

Peace,
Michael

Coward, I am not saying that I believe this is an exterestrial anything. I am saying that what I am seeing I have never seen before and I would like to get some type of explanation as to what it is.

Incidently, what I am seeing is not the same thing as what the others are describing. The only similarity is we are seeing different colors. The light I see does not dim. It does not move. It is stationary and only rises in the night sky as the earth rotates.

I called the local news station yesterday and spoke with a gentleman there. He told me that if I saw the same thing last night to shoot off an email to their newsroom and if possible, they would try and check it out. He seemed rather disinterested, which I understand. They probably get strange phone calls from time to time. Anyways, I did that, sent the email. This morning on the news they made the comment that the people in this part of New York would be able to see the International Space Station this evening. I thought, that must be it until I did a search on Google to find out what to look for when trying to spot the International Space Station. What I found was that the station would appear as a point of white light that would swiftly stream across the sky. It is only viewable for about 3 minutes. What I am seeing is in the sky for hours. Not moving. I am viewing it through a set of binoculars. Which is my other question, could the binoculars be distorting my view? Problem with that is I can look at other stars in the sky and none of them are changing colors like what I am seeing. None. I tried.

I would rather that I had not seen this. BUT... since I have, I would like to know what it is. I am trying to find every or any logical answer there is for what it is, but I can't find one.

Anyways, hopefully tonight if it is there again the professor from the university will see what I have and can give me an answer. My luck it won't come out, in which case I may start to question my own sanity!

OK, I was wrong about that. Thank you for correcting me.

Now, if they are saying there is nothing unusual on the radar, isn't that a confirmation of the theory that there's nothing unusual there?

If these people are seeing planes that are coming in for landings then there wouldn't be anything unusual on radar, just the planes that are supposed to be there.

The situation as I see it reported now in a variety of places is that people who do believe in UFOs are there with good equipment, have systematically checked this out and are concluding it's planes coming in for landing over the lake.

You're not doing the cause of Ufology any good to keep claiming they're orbs if thats not what they are.

Didn't you say you're in Buffalo?

That would be a different case.

Maybe you are seeing a real UFO, I don't know.

If it's stationary, you're right, it couldn't be the space station.

If it's stationary, the first thing you need to do is determine if it's not a planet or a star. Do you know somebody who's into astronomy who look with you?

Isn't it funny how Michael Lee Hill uses "credentials" in people's names and officials that work at certain places, airports, news agencies, etc., he throws around their names and reports enough to use them as ammunition, but he has no facts or proof of anything yet. No matter what quotes he uses from others, either.

So far, EVERYTHING he has posted, ever, has to do with complete speculation or deep rooted beliefs of his own. Is any of this good enough for anyone?

None of this would hold up in a court of law, or even the court of common sense. How can anyone deduce what he is saying as truth? Even if I believe in aliens too, truth requires facts and proof. We've had none of that yet.

I spoke with the professor that oversees the Astronomy Department at Buffalo State University. Surprisingly he lives within two blocks of where I live and he will be outside tonight checking the sky. If it is out there tonight (the sky is perfectly clear) he should be able to see it. Also, my daughter graduated from Bowling Green State University with a minor in Astronomy. As a hobby she teaches star gazing classes down in West Virginia where she lives. I have spoken with her about it. She wants me to try and get a timed exposure picture of it tonight. She would like to try and identify either the constellation it is in or by. They both agree that what I am describing is not a plane, helicopter or the International Space Station. My daughter mentioned that what I could be seeing is a super nova. She said if it is, she is surprised it has lasted this long. Whatever it is, I hope it lasts at least one more night. I really want someone else to see what I am seeing.

My daughter and I laughed about it. I told her I don't want people to think I am nuts. She told me as long as I keep the number of people that know I am seeing this under 5, I won't be committed. Over five, I am going to the loony bin.

Thank goodness I can laugh about this.

I am going to go out to the Lake and try to see these things again. The weather is warmer than last time, the sky isn't puked up with chemtrails, so I should have a clear shot of whatever flying, luminous, oddity should present itself.

I want to believe. I am hoping that I see something that I cannot explain. I am willing to accept whatever the sky presents, be it planes, UFOs or the majestic beauty of the universe.

If I have time, I will report back what I observed.

Re: UPDATE! UFO sightings at Euclid, Ohio, over Lake Erie continues now for the NINTH DAY in a row, as reported by MSNBC
I saw Mike's tape and it was compelling enough for me to go out, in the cold, on St. Pats, to observe with my own 2 eyes and a good pair of field binoculars the sky over Lake Erie. I looked north, over the lake, having a wide field of vision.

Tonight had perfect viewing conditions; cloudless and still, beautiful stars clear and sparkling. If you are into astronomy, tonight was a godsend. Whatever your interests, I hope you took a moment to look up.

Concerning UFOs over these last two evenings, I saw none.

Which leads me to question the accuracy of the post of the person who said they did see one this evening. Sir, I was there, on the Lake side, with the sole purpose of seeing UFOs. I was there at the time you said you saw an UFO and I am saying I did not see anything to make me believe I saw an unidentifiable craft of dubious origin.

Perhaps it would help others if you would respond with not only the time you saw it, but where the object was in relation to the moon. To the east or west, relative distance -- make a fist and hold it out in front of you and, hand over hand, count the number of fists it takes to go from the leading edge of the moon to the object you said was a UFO. If the distance is too far to make this practical (or if the moon is not visable), use a known constellation (Orion, Big Dipper, Cassiopeia) and count from there. That way, everyone would be sure to be talking about the same thing. If it's close to the horizon, do the same thing but with your fist starting at the horizon -- where a width of a fist with the thumb up held out in front of you at an arms length is approx. 10 degrees.

If it is in the same spot (or close) every night, at approximately same time, this matter of UFOs over lake erie could be resolved quickly as someone would be sure to bring out the heavy equipment and document the sighting knowing not only where to look, but when. Hell, I'll do it.

Coward,

You are starting to bore me.

My one sentence post saying I see it and what time I saw it was for someone else. It was for Angelseverywhere who is the only person taking part in this thread that has a chance to see what I saw because she is located approximately 10 minutes away from where I am and knows exactly where I am seeing it. I saw no need to give more information because the facts I have posted since my first post have not changed. The light I see appears in the same spot every time I see it. The only thing that changes is the time that I first notice it. I don't sit waiting for it to appear. I check from time to time to see if it is there. Last night it just so happens that we had company. They had fun kidding me (which is fine) about the light. I had to laugh after I noticed the light was there and I showed it to them. Their laughing pretty much stopped and the most used word was "bizarre".

I have nothing to prove to you MrCoward. I came to these forums because I did a search on Google for the mystery lights seen from Euclid and one of the hits led me here. I came here for advice and help. Not to be ridiculed or for you to try and make me look like a fool to justify your own self worth.

No, I don't.

To the people who have seen it there is no logical answer. Yet.

I am still hoping that the professor that I talked to yesterday saw it last night. He was going to watch for it. Hopefully he took me serious and did. Otherwise I don't know what else to do. He said he would contact me today if he saw anything. If he looked past 9:10pm, he had to have seen it.

At this point I almost don't care. I've seen it. My husband has seen it and the company we had at the house last night saw it. In my mind that is validation enough for me.

The UFO sightings at Euclid, Ohio, continues now for the ninth day in a row, as reported by MSNBC reporter David Schuster.

With the news spreading on this consistent sighting over more than one week, people are apparently camping out along the banks of Lake Erie to watch.

The UFO is a single ball of light in the night sky that is showing movement and witnesses at the scene say that the object is changing color.

Schuster interviewed British Ufologist Nick Pope for this report, who agrees that the sighting is very unusual. Schuster contacted both the FAA and the military, and cannot find a manmade explanation for this sighting.

Pope says that further investigation must be done to rule out other natural or mannade explanations.

If you are near this location or have witnessed this UFO, please comment here on what you are seeing. As of Friday afternoon, no witness in that area has filed a report with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON)

Here is the update...
