i believe thats the case as well. our walmart is near a huge distribution center and it still sees empty shelves and isles.

regardless of the reason, the result is even less available merchandise if there is a run on product. once the shelves are empty then there is no need for people to come to your store and less damage, hopefully. for the average guy, it means you better have a reserve of food at home, even if its just beans and noodles and flour and salt, etc.

i see squirrel stew in a lot of peoples futures.
