Wow they really are gonging and binging away aren´t they. I must admit I´ve never heard so boingy, not that I´m a big egg watcher. Well if something does happen within a fairly short period of time I would say you can claim the fame.

I recently started watching the eggs. What is an anomalous reading for the readings? I have been seeing 8.2 a lot today. Is that out of the ordinary?

Is that out of the ordinary? - that´s what the egg replay software is for.
It doesn´t do any statistical calculations, but it allows us amateur egg watchers to get a feel for whats random and whats not.

Just getting mellowed cause I got my insurance and benefits from Caterpillar yesterday..no longer supplemental ..hired on as full timer ... celebrating 3 weeks vacation and getting paid holidays and vaction pay. Usual friday night thing anyway.

you have to go to the website and let it load, all the explanations are on the webpage. No, I don´t know if it´s true that theres a correlation between the eggs going off and important world events. I read here before that they were sounding off like that before the earthquake/tsunami 12-26. Its just that I´m expecting something to happen in the world shortly and those eggs are noisy so I´m checking it out.

The researchers are trying to show that the eggs go crazy before major world events.

The problem is that they tend to throw out data that does not support their hypothesis.

Also, I read through their statistical methodology a while back and found that they weren´t using appropriate methods.

Main problems are: XORing the data stream, the handling of outliers and using an a priori. Also when there are multiple methods to choose from, they pick the one that gives them the result they want.

They are kind of neat to watch, but there is really no merit to their claims. They even admit this themselves in their scientific discussion.

I wouldn´t read too much into it.

A friend of mine in a ´Federal´ agency told me that tommorrow on Sunday there is strong indicators that a "Major News Event" will occur.

He wouldn´t tell me anymore than that because he is under oath, but it was his way of saying a warning without violateing policy.

He urged me to stay close to home.

Oh gee, here we go again. How do you know that everyone is not just thinking about ´vacation´ at once? makes sense to me.....
