Running at dusk/night in urban areas

Move to a small rural community and chew tobacco.

I just left the rural midwest. I'm now in a large city west of the rockies and the increased crime is slightly concerning, especially since I'm living IN the city and not in the suburbs.

just don't talk to anyone.When they start yellin and asking you to come talk just keep running like you've got headphones.It's when you stop and your like,"Nah bro sorry Man I left m . . ." thats when the shit goes down,and you get stomped out and left in someones yard waiting for the next skateboarder to come by and help you out.

I run at night in Brooklyn, NY a few times a week, not out of choice so much as out of necessity. I get out of work and home and by the time I am ready to go at 5:30PM it is dark out. I love it and have not had any issues yet. I run in the road and not on the sidewalk. Dealing with cars and having a relatively uniform running surface is better than running up on pedestrians. I find the dark quite invigorating and have come to enjoy my urban combat runs through Brooklyn.

Depends where you live really.
I have no worries at all, being out and about here in NorthEast England.
Would I be so safe in central London?.... Nope!
