IMPENDING CATASTROPHES

Even the weather prognosticators and scientists, always ready to call unusual events "normal" by pulling out an ancient fact or two from some prior abnormal event, are admitting that things now are not what they were and that we could be facing massive catastrophes. These arenīt prophecy devotees by any means, and they are usually the first to deny that things are really abnormal. Too much is obvious to far too many people to say things are normal now, so the mantra has changed to studying how we can scientifically predict massive destructive events, earthquakes in particular.
It is also being admitted that the United States very well could see massive movement of tectonic plates that would produce devastating earthquakes. "Earthquakes in divers places" used to be the proclamation of Bible students who could be pooh-poohed by the intelligentsia. No longer. Earthīs fragility, somewhat stable in certain regions for years, decades or centuries is now a topic for scientific investigation and reporting.
The U.S. Geological Survey has earthquake maps that are accessible via the internet, and Iīve been watching those for years. There appears not only to be increased seismic activity in the "ring of fire" but in many other places, particularly the ocean floor. The December, 2004 quake in Sumatra and the ensuing tsunami made people all over the world aware of just how devastating and widespread these events can be. The next question on peopleīs minds is, "could it happen here?" (Some things still get peopleīs attention.)
Above the earth, things arenīt very quiet either. With or without any "Planet X" something is occurring in outer space, and for a long while there was an article kept on this machine reporting a conversation with a scientist who said that if a major asteroid that would cause worldwide catastrophic damage and death were on a collision course with earth, they would not release that information to the public to prevent panic. Reported "sightings" now appear to be less of the UFO variety and far more in the category of exploding meteorites. Less seems to be said now by scientists about the possibility of blowing up an oncoming asteroid by a rocket with a warhead capable of destroying the projectile, but that doesnīt mean such a program has been given up. It may or may not have been practical, it may or may not be the subject of study. We arenīt being told very much, at least not in the places people generally look for news.
Impending catastrophes appear to be coming from all directions: the solar system, the earthīs crust, and lastly, the earthīs human population.
With such a densely populated planet, particularly in the coastal areas, one would think man would be working with his fellow man to ensure their mutual protection. No, the march toward a globalist elite "New World Order" keeps on its devilish course, strangling the freedom of those whose history is filled with the blood of those who sacrificed their lives for us to be free. Whether it is called national socialism, fascism, communism or some other "ism" the only word for it is totalitarianism. Rule by the elite few over the helpless masses has been the objective for centuries, and is marching at an astonishing pace now, particularly in the United States of America, the former bastion of freedom that has already separated its government from the will of the people.
The humanly engineered impending catastrophe is serfdom for those who were formerly free, and worldwide rule of all people by a dynasty of global elitists.
Pathetically, the Americans for the most part havenīt a clue as to whatīs happening to them, and the rest of the world thinks America deserves to be trounced. The nation is too crowded with people who are here illegally, and too filled with junk stuff with which to entertain the masses and ensure that they neither think nor grasp their situation. A person in another country read an article of mine and wrote to me saying that the thinking was fairly astute "for an American." We are no longer a nation respected for being either a free people, which weīre not, or a well-educated nation, because ignorance is the result of federalization of our schools. The distinguishing trait of America, for the time-being, is that it has the most weapons to blow up parts of the world, but not the intellect to plan and conduct a war in a manner that will bring about military victory. Perhaps that is because our leaders do not wish to win a military conflict, but merely establish a base for economic profitability for American companies. But it is also possible that our leaders are just plain stupid.
Whatever the case with America, globalism has its teeth into the hide of the American people and is intent on bringing them into a serfdom they wonīt believe until the tanks are in the streets. Even the idea of the National ID card doesnīt rattle many cages, because the moment a human realizes that their most precious possession is in danger they rationalize away their fears. Failure to do so prompts action, and having passed the point of ballot box changes, being left with revolution as the option is not acceptable. So into slavery they shall go.
The freedom contemplated by the Constitution of the United States, barring a miracle, is toast. And that is a very imminent impending catastrophe.
If all this sounds like the earth is doomed to meet one or more forms of catastrophic events, that is because it is. The world is no longer "normal" as that might have been defined prior to the 1970īs. Big fish eat little fish, and the big fish are growing larger. Human endeavor alone would put an end to the civilizations we have now on the earth, in their present form. But while humans are busy inventing evil, the earth and the universe are moving in such a manner as to present clear and present dangers against which there is no defense, no revolution and no avoidance. These are indeed "interesting times" in which to live.
The people who should have no fear and be eager to see these events come to pass are often somewhat disappointing because they appear to be the most fearful. Those who know God and live in Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, should be applauding the coming to pass of the events they learned about from the Bible and in church.
Apparently being frail humans is such a handicap, other than to a few, that handwringing syndrome affects even those who profess Christ as Lord and Savior. To these, it is time to announce that your God is too small in your own mind and your value of self is far and away too large. Death is inevitable, and death in Christ is a passing through the veil into eternity. So why any fear?
The increase of knowledge that has occurred over the past century has left man with the sense that he is able to control all things. Wrong. The proper conclusion is that for all our knowledge, we know so little that we should be all the more aware of our dependence on that Higher Authority who controls all things by the counsel of His own will. Be alert, be watchful, be dutiful, be mindful of higher things. All that is now shall pass away, and that to come will not. Again, itīs a matter of getting priorities straight and perceptions cleared up so that we can see what we ought to see.
That perspective is the only way we frail beings can handle the impending catastrophes of earth in this present age of evil.
