Every time a new "organization" like MUFON begins operations, it's already infiltrated or influenced by external powers. You just can't make an independent organization/community without external influence. Or penetration, as you put it. Even when there is a "community", because it revolves around the same organizations and info.

That's because he can't. He wasn't there. Tom Wertman and MUFON were the only ones who actually went to the scene and investigated.

They came to a conclusion different from Michael's preconceived notions so therefore they must be government agents.

That's correct. It's hard to admit when you're wrong. Even if it's a small thing. Human nature I suppose. He'll never admit it, even to himself.

When you start talking about government disinfo and infiltration, one aspect that HAS been documented is the organized ridicule of UFOs and UFO witnesses during the 1960's flaps in order to discredit the subject.

What Michael Hill is doing is straight out of central casting in that regard. Far more effective in repressing serious investigation than any alleged infiltrator in an unfortunately hapless MUFON.

I don't think he's intentionally engaging in this, but he has talked about his "black op" buddies before so I don't see where he has any grounds to throw around accusations of this nature.

Well I'll tell you something. If you were to try and land a spaceship on the Whitehouse lawn, those lawn sprinklers are going to be ruined. That could flood the maintenance room, then the electrical room, and all hell would break loose.

This does not surprise in the least. I once called the president of Mufon via a letter (before internet capabilities) on something that is quite real and now talked about at least 20 yrs back regarding the underground alien visitors that have outstayed their welcome and he dismissed the issue.
